Clinical Expertise in Child & Adolescent Psychosis
Dr. Ruiz-Yu is an Attending Psychologist in Outpatient Psychiatry at Boston Children's Hospital.
She completed clinical training at Judge Baker Children's Center, Massachusetts Mental Health Center/ Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Cambridge Health Alliance. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis. She integrates psychodynamic, multicultural, family, and biopsychosocial theories in her therapeutic work. Dr. Ruiz-Yu is fluent in Spanish and provides care for Spanish-speaking patients and their families.

Spanish Advisory Board for Linguistic Development (SALUD)
Dr. Ruiz-Yu is a founding member and co-leader of SALUD, an advisory board of Spanish speaking clinicians in early psychosis programs. The advisory board was developed to connect Spanish-speaking providers, identify and address needs in early psychosis, and advance equity across early psychosis programs in Massachusetts.
